2024 Highlights

2024 Highlights

What a whirlwind 2024 has been! From bold new launches to heartwarming customer stories, it’s been a year packed with excitement and unforgettable moments. We’ve laughed, celebrated, and hustled—sometimes all in the same day! Every step we took this year was guided by our passion for crafting shoes and accessories that inspire confidence and individuality.

January

We kicked off the year with photoshoots for our SS24 collection, setting the tone for a bright and creative year ahead. It was a behind-the-scenes glimpse into our creative process, featuring bold multi-strap designs like Anya—Mary Jane’s stylish sister. We also teased the upcoming Romeo Bag, sparking curiosity and anticipation for what was to come.

February

February marked the official release of the Romeo Bag, our very first accessory, in a stunning variety of metallic fabrics. It was a proud moment for us, marking our first steps into a world I had long dreamed of. Your overwhelming love for Romeo made this milestone even more special, and it quickly became a favorite in the Esska collection.

March

March was all about love, and not just in the air—our shoes made countless appearances at weddings. Customers shared beautiful photos of their big days, with Esska playing a starring role. Knowing that our designs were part of such important moments in your lives is something we deeply value. Each story and image shared reminded us of the trust you place in Esska for these special occasions, and for that, we are truly grateful.

April

April brought a flurry of excitement as we were featured in top-tier publications like Good Housekeeping, The Times, and Prima Magazine. Seeing Esska on these pages felt like a pinch-me moment!

May

May was all about nurturing the heart of Esska—our artisans in Portugal. Visiting the factories is always inspiring, as it gives us the chance to work closely with the talented teams who bring our designs to life. From perfecting details to making last-minute adjustments, these in-person collaborations are what keep our craftsmanship and quality alive. It’s a reminder that our shoes are as much about people as they are about design.

June

June was the month of trainers, and what a splash we made! We introduced a collection of colorful suede designs that combined functionality with fun. Whether running errands or strolling through the park, these trainers proved to be the ultimate stylish companion.

July

Community events were the highlight of July as we participated in a pop-up hosted by BelsFashionEdit in Chiswick. Sharing the space with incredible brands like Arifah Studio and Harry Rocks London made it an event to remember. It’s always a joy connecting with customers face-to-face and showcasing our designs in such a vibrant setting.

August

August had us back in creative mode with the Autumn/Winter 2024 photoshoot (on the hottest day of the year.... shooting our Winter collection!!!!!) held at the charming ByMax café near the station Acton Mainline. This cozy local spot added a warm, authentic touch to our campaign. Supporting fellow small businesses is a value we hold close to our hearts, and we highly recommend their coffee if you’re ever in the area!

September

September was a time for us to visit the fabric shows, gathering inspiration from the materials and the creative energy of others in the industry. These visits offer a chance to step away from the usual—aka the office—and explore fresh ideas, helping us stay in tune with the evolving trends that shape our designs. It’s always motivating to return with new perspectives, ready to bring those ideas to life in our collections.

October

Brrr... in October, when the weather turned colder, we shifted our focus to cozy, stylish solutions. Enter: our fur-lined boots, designed to feel like a warm hug, perfect if you like to keep your feet toasty. The fur lining provided an extra layer of comfort and warmth, making them a go-to choice for the cooler months.

November

November was all about parties, campaigns, and everything glamorous. Whether you needed boots to stay warm or heeled sandals to make a statement, we had you covered. We poured our hearts into every design to make sure you could shine at every event, big or small.

December

In December, we turned leftover fabrics into a fresh range of accessories. From makeup pouches to other small pieces, we reimagined our materials to create something new and fun. It was a great way to end the year, giving our fabrics a second life and adding a little extra something special to the collection.
