To launch this initiative, we’ve kicked things off with a bold commitment—we’ve already planted 1,157 trees, helping to restore vital ecosystems and create a healthier planet.

But that’s not all. Through our initial efforts, we’ve also separately offset 106.7 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO₂)—a powerful demonstration of what we can achieve together when we embed sustainability into our everyday choices.

For context, that’s equivalent to the CO₂ emissions from:

• 263,000 miles driven by an average petrol car

• Charging 13 million smartphones

• Or powering 13 homes for an entire year

Why Trees?

Trees are one of the most effective tools we have to fight climate change. Through a process called carbon sequestration, trees absorb and store CO₂, improving air quality and supporting wildlife in the process.

Each tree we plant through Switch2zero is projected to sequester around 0.2 metric tonnes of CO₂e over its lifetime. That’s a lasting impact with every order.
